Photography is a significant part of my life, and this platform is an online gallery of my passion.
In case you are interested in commerce, here you can find my contact information.
My name is Tetiana Shyshkina and I am currently located in Jena, Germany, where I am pursuing a PhD in History at the International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture (GCSC) at the Justus-Liebig-Universität Giessen. I am originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, and I have studied at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and the Central European University. As a researcher, I am interested in the dynamics of aid networks, particularly in the context of the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee during the 1940s. I use Digital Humanities tools to analyze and visualize these networks and their impact. If you’re interested in learning more about my work or cooperation, please take a look at my CV on my website.
In addition to my academic pursuits, I am a photographer who specializes in reportage-style portraits. I believe in capturing honest emotions and genuine moments in my photography. I am also a photography teacher, having taught at a private photography school in Kyiv from 2016 to 2019. Furthermore, I am passionate about using my photography to support charitable causes. I currently offer charity photography sessions with donations going towards supporting Ukraine in its ongoing struggle against Russia’s aggression. I am available to travel throughout Europe for these sessions, and regularly visit cities such as Jena, Leipzig, Vienna, Giessen, and Basel.
Please, check some photos from my previous charity photo sessions.
On February 24th, 2022, Russia began a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This is the big war in Europe. Putin is using aviation, artillery, and missiles. Cities are being bombed with battles happening across the country.
At the moment, I offer charity photography sessions that benefit Ukraine’s fight against Russia’s aggression. I can travel anywhere in Europe, more frequently I am located in Jena, Leipzig, Vienna, Giessen, and Basel. Please, check some photos from my previous charity photo sessions.
